As a versatile mixed-media artist, I believe art should tell a meaningful story to the beholder. So, as you browse through this site you will see my narrative style of work is very much based on encapsulating my own personal memories and experiences, yet illustrated in a way that can be interpreted individually by the viewer. Latest news
I was honoured to be asked by the organisers of the Buxton Festival to design the front cover of their 2012 programme brochure. This was revealed at their AGM on Friday 27th, the brochure will be available from April.
Details of my Spring/Summer workshop programme is now available. There are some new subjects included thanks to the fantastic feedback received following my workshop survey last year.

My Studio and Gallery
I live and work in my home studio in Upper Dovedale, a very beautiful part of the Peak District. My mixed media work is inspired by what I see here, the magic scenery and the ever changing colours, as in ”Home”, which received a commendation in the 2007 Derbyshire Open exhibition.
I hope you will enjoy sharing my stories and pictures in my gallery. As well as running regular workshops, I also give talks and perform demonstrations so if you would like to learn about my style of work – or perhaps try your hand yourself I would love to hear from you.
